MOON Products for Durable GFRG Housing
Construction of Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) Panel Affordable Housing : Usage of Our Products
Our Products have been used in the Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) Panel Affordable Housing Project to enhance the durability of building units.
1. CORROCON – CPAC (Cement Polymer Anticorrosive Coating) for protection of Main Reinforcement Rods used in Plinth beam, Starter bars and Lintel; Micro Beams and Weld mesh used in the Terrace Slab.

2. MOONCRETE – CI was added as Corrosion Inhibiting Admixture in the concrete used for Isolated Footings, Plinth beam, Reinforced cavities in the GFRG panel and Sunshade, for enhanced corrosion protection of steel rods.

3. POLYPRO-WP : Polymer Cementious Waterproofing coating was applied over Plinth Beam, External
surfaces of GFRG panels and over Terrace slab for resistance against water
penetration and improved durability.

4. POLYPRO-786 : Cement Waterproofing Admixture is incorporated at 1 ltr. per bag of cement for
making Polymer Modified Concrete which was used to cover Micro beams and Slab
portion in the terrace to offer excellent resistance against water ingress and
dampness; and to improve durability.

5. The fine mortar composite made of POLYPRO-WP Liquid and powder component was used to fill up joints at intersection of GFRG panels and potential locations all over the building. This
tailor made composite exhibited compatibility with GFRG panels and in-filled micro concrete; and greatly enhanced the water tightness at joints and aesthetic appearance of GFRG building units.
